Lourdes Patients Tea Party at the Corinthia Marina Hotel

It only takes a split second to smile and forget, yet to someone that needed it, it can last a lifetime.

The Maltese Association’s monthly afternoon tea-parties for our past Lourdes patients continue to give a lot of happiness and respite to our dear friends. These get-together events are also so very rewarding for us helpers, we receive so much in return!

This month’s tea party brought together both old and young patients who are all so very dear and close to the heart of Maltese Association. The chosen venue was the lovely Corinthia Marina Hotel, where a spread of delightful eats were laid out in the Bay View Restaurant. Some wheelchair patients, on this lovely cloudless and blue skied afternoon, also enjoyed a cheerful and happy chat between themselves in one of the charming terraces overlooking the attractive St George’s Bay. The children were so happy and thrilled to meet each other again. Everyone enjoyed tucking into the delicious sweets and tasty sandwiches, very kindly provided by the Corinthia. They all had a lovely relaxing time and are already looking forward to the next reunion at the Radisson Blu Golden Sands Hotel in Mellieha!
