Dar tal-Providenza Tea Parties

At the cross, Jesus subjects himself to disability, and his resurrected body continues to bear his scars as a sign of God’s solidarity with humanity.Thomas E. Reynolds

The Maltese Association hosted around seventy five Dar tal-Providenza residents, being half the number of residents, to a tea party held on Wednesday 25th January. The following week, on Wednesday 1st February, a second tea party was organized for the second group. Both events were held in the theatre hall of Dar tal-Providenza.

Members and volunteers served delicious finger food, which were very kindly sponsored by two catering establishments. The residents ate to their hearts delight whilst entertainment all through the two afternoons was provided by two brilliant performers, who tried to give their best act to please the happy audience!

These special angels wore a beautiful broad smile across their faces by the end of the afternoon; they enjoyed the warm interaction with our volunteers so much, that some even ventured to take to the dance floor to sing with the music!

The Dar tal-Providenza staff expressed their appreciation and heartily thanked our members and volunteers for their valuable time to give a service with much LOVE.
