Jesus didn’t say, ‘Blessed are those who care for the poor.’ He said, ‘Blessed are we when we are poor, when we are broken.’ It is there that God loves us deeply and pulls us into deeper communion with himselfHenri Nouwen

A lavish spread of food with beverages was prepared by the devoted catering staff of the Radisson Blue Resort and was beautifully laid out in one of the lovely tea rooms leading onto a beautiful terrace of this charming and attractive hotel which overlooks the breathtaking and popular Golden Bay. We have come to appreciate that these get-togethers have become so significant in the little lives of our wonderful patients and their special families who so bravely cart along their daily challenges and problems where ever they go. Our young malades especially, despite having to battle illness at such a tender young age, are always so cheerfully laughing with their dedicated mothers always close-by keeping a gentle watchful eye on them whilst also managing a relaxing time amongst themselves in this calming convivial atmosphere. Needless to say, this time for us is a most rewarding and priceless gift to see all their faces lit up and so evidently happy! We cannot emphasis enough our gratefulness and appreciation to The Radisson Blu Resort, whose remarkable staff always go so much out of their way to give our amazing guests such a wonderful and most enjoyable afternoon to remember!
