Christmas Eve Mass at Our Lady of Victory Church in Valletta

Members of the Order and their families and friends gathered in Our Lady of Victory Church to celebrate Christmas Eve Mass.

Mgr Paul Vella celebrated Mass and was assisted by Mgr Anton Galea and Dun Karm Busuttil.

Kevin Dingli, Markus Micallef and Paul & Andrew Sultana lead the congregation in the singing of carols by providing the music which enhanced the celebration of Holy Mass and also inspired the spirit of Christmas throughout the function.

The traditional sermon this year was delightfully and ably recited by the young Georgia Gera de Petri Testaferrata who captured the hearts of all those present. Whilst the readings and bidding prayers were read by Marchesino Daniel de Petri Testaferrata and Rita Mizzi respectively. President Philip Farrugia Randon read the Prayer of the Order at the end of Holy Mass.

After Mass, members and their families proceeded to Casa Lanfreducci where they were able to exchange greetings in a jovial Christmas atmosphere whilst tucking into the lovely spread of food and mulled wine organized by the President’s wife Helen. The enjoyable evening came to a close at 11.00 p.m.
