Maltese Association Children’s Christmas Party at the Grand Hotel Excelsior

Over two hundred and fifty children from various child care programme centres, organisations and orphanages attended the Maltese Association annual Christmas Party that took place once again at the Grand Hotel Excelsior in Floriana.

The Grand Exhibition hall soon filled in with young children who spent the best part of the afternoon running around, dancing, singing and enjoying the cheerful and jovial performances and games organised by the brilliant ‘After Glow Events’ team of animators, who proficiently managed to captivate the children’s attention throughout the party. Some of the animators were dressed up as elves with costumes in bright red and green, whilst a few others wore Disney characters. They mingled amongst the excited kids providing plenty of fun and laughter. The children were then entertained by a magician who together with the animators also took part in his show, where performed many tricks. The children were so eager to join in the fun that they crowded around the magician and animators, to climb on the stage!

Meanwhile the hotel generously laid on a beautiful spread and plenty of food and drinks which were consumed by the children in no time! They were so hungry and thirsty and eager to tuck into the goodies and delicious eats.

At the end of the party the animators gave out balloons in all sorts of shapes and colours to the children’s delight and pampered them even more by handing out an abundance of candy floss which made the children go wild with excitement!

The afternoon finally came to a close at seven in the evening with all the helpers feeling totally exhausted but nonetheless very happy with the successful afternoon’s event.
